Why You Need A Website To Do Business Online

If you're going to start a business online, you need to have your own website.
Period. No question. Without a doubt.

Now I don't mean one of those affiliate sites you get from the "Make-A-Fortune"
company that is like every other affiliate's site but has your name and ID#
somewhere in the top corner. I mean a site of your own. A storefront of
your own - one that lends credibility to what you are doing online.

There are over 50 million people worldwide who have access to the internet.
To reach those people, you need to have the tool of choice - a website. Not
only that but your website works for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
days a year, year in and year out. It works while you sleep. It works while you
              play.

People anywhere in the world, can find your business with a search engine on
the Internet, visit your website, and become a customer. You are no longer
limited to customers within driving distance.

Were a fast-paced, always-connected, instant gratification world – no one
wants to wait for anything and were all too busy. Ordering online saves time.
Millions do it every day. Online shopping is growing by leaps and bounds and
it just makes sense to have a site so that you can have a portion of that pie.

Every serious business in the world has a presence somewhere. Most are
'               brick and mortar' stores located on a street, in a mall, etc. Some are located
in cyberspace but nevertheless they have an existance and if you hope to
make money with an e-business, you have to project an image of professionalism.
A website helps you do that.

That being said, it's not enough that you just have a website. You must have a
professional-looking site (which you can do yourself) if you want to be taken
seriously. If your site looks like it was designed by a barrel of colorblind monkeys,
your chance at making a good first impression will be lost.

Your website is an important part of your business. Make sure you treat it as such.

Do your research carefully. It's interesting to note that more than 62 percent of websites
built with one service ranked in the TOP 3% of 56.1 million websites for traffic. Why?
What did they have that seperated them from the pack? Find out here.
